The Van Buren Lighthouse Inn first opened its doors in June 2003, with four suites and one vacation home. In May 2004 we replaced our vacation home with four brand new suites, an office and gazebo. Today our property consists of eight one bedroom suites each offering a private master bedroom, separate living room with a sofa-sleeper couch, gas fireplace, whirlpool bathtubs, snack or full kitchenette and balconies.

In June 2005, the Van Buren Lighthouse Inn joined the Escape Lodging Property Management family. Based here in Cannon Beach, Escape Lodging is headed up by Tom Drumheller, Patrick Nofield, and Becki Sperley. Sister properties locally include The Ocean Lodge and the Inn at Cannon Beach.
